FTC 5666 'Dutch 200' on Sensors and Hardware
We use the Tetrix platform. Like all other teams we use the LEGO NXT Mindstorm and the Samantha wi-fi modules. We also like to implement the Hi-technic NXT SuperPro Protoype board whenever the challenge merits. Here we will share our experience with these systems.
Understand the finer points of the IR Seeker
The number 5 is useful, but not necessarily the best choice. Understand RAW values and where they come from.
This is what FIRST offers now. It is the older style beacon that is still legal to use for the challenge. It is a 1200 Hz beacon.
The new beacon must be set to 1200Hz.
This is what FIRST offers on the site. It might work for RobotC, but it will not work in this manner for LabVIEW users without downloading a vi.
