We mentor at least 2 to 3 First Lego League teams each year.  We really love working with the young kids and watching them become robot experts.  We bring a combined total of 27 years of FLL experience to the table ! (15 competition years, plus an additional 12 mentoring years among us.) We absolutely beleive in the socratic approach (the way we were coached), and enjoy leading the kids to the answers, rather than doing it for them.

Haley has graduated and is now attending Central New Mexico Community College. She is working toward a degree in Biological Oceanography. The 'Geared Up' webpage is a part of her Gold Award project, which she earned in 2013 through GSUSA. This is an on-going program.

Geared Up is an after-school robotics program geared towards making robotics available for everyone, specifically those with physical disabilities. To get involved by starting the program at your school follow the instructions in "Resources" all of the steps you need to take are listed there.
